Happy October! This month, there will be plenty to look forward to: Fall is officially here, football is back, and Halloween is coming up. Fredonia is going to be buzzing with activity, especially when parents weekend rolls around on October 21st -23rd.

Parents weekend is all about spending quality time with family. It also gives students the chance to show their parents around their favorite parts of the University and town. We hope Water Street Square is a stop on your list of places to check out this weekend! If you are not familiar with us, Water Street Square is a Property Management Company, offering luxury student housing to students at SUNY Fredonia.

One of our main apartment complexes is located above the former Maria’s pizza. As you stroll around town, you will find that Water Street Square is located at the center of life at Fredonia, and close to the best hot spots including Sunny’s, EBC, Upper Crust Bakery, and more. Please don’t hesitate to contact us or give our property manager Jack a call for more information at 716-906-4643. We would love to meet with parents and students to set up a tour!

If you have never yet experienced parents weekend, you’re going to want to have a plan for when your parents arrive. Follow our guide for parents weekend below!

The first thing you’ll want to have a plan for is food. This weekend is busy and restaurants may be more backed-up than usual, so having a couple options in mind is a good call. Also, you may want to consider asking restaurants if you could make a reservation ahead of time.
